Privacy Policy

OfficeDrills ("we," "us") operates officedrills.com, a hands-on practice environment for workplace software. This page explains what information we collect, why, and how it's handled.

What we collect

• Account information: your email address, used to sign you in and identify your purchases. Authentication is handled by Supabase.
• Purchase records: which courses you've bought, so we can grant you access. Payment itself is processed entirely by Stripe — OfficeDrills never sees or stores your card number.
• Lesson progress: which lessons you've completed, so your progress is saved between visits.
• Basic usage analytics: aggregate, anonymized traffic data via Vercel Analytics (which pages are visited, roughly how often) — not tied to your identity.
• Drill and lesson activity: when you start or finish a free Drill, we record that event — tied to your account if you're signed in, otherwise anonymous — so we can see which parts of the practice environment are working and where people get stuck. This is stored in our own database, never shared with a third party, and never includes your answers or anything you typed — only that a step was reached.

The Spanish translation feature

If you use the language toggle inside a lesson, the lesson text is sent to a translation provider (DeepL, or a fallback translation service) to be translated into Spanish. That text is used only to return a translation to you — it isn't stored by us beyond a short-lived cache used to avoid re-translating the same text repeatedly.

What we don't do

We don't sell your information to anyone. We don't share it with advertisers. We don't use it for anything beyond running the courses you've signed up for.

Third-party services we rely on

• Supabase — account authentication and database storage.
• Stripe — payment processing. Stripe's own privacy policy governs how they handle your payment details.
• Vercel — hosting and analytics.
• DeepL / a fallback translation provider — only when you use the Spanish toggle.

Your choices

You can request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time by emailing support@officedrills.com.

Children's privacy

OfficeDrills is intended for people preparing for or currently in the workforce, and isn't directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
